The Case of the Missing Black Associates
The Orrick Building 405 Howard Street, San Francisco, CAThis unique program will address the distressingly high number of minority attorneys who exit law firms early in their careers. It will explore potential solutions, with a specific focus on the challenges and opportunities for increasing retention of Black associates. The program will include research data and anecdotal information on the experience of Black associates, and hackathon-style break out groups exploring specific areas for improvement in how associates are developed, supported and advanced. The substantive program will be followed by a networking reception.
