The Case of the Missing Black Associates

This unique program will address the distressingly high number of minority attorneys who exit law firms early in their careers. It will explore potential solutions, with a specific focus on the challenges and opportunities for increasing retention of Black associates. The program will include research data and anecdotal information on the experience of Black associates, and hackathon-style break out groups exploring specific areas for improvement in how associates are developed, supported and advanced. The substantive program will be followed by a networking reception.

The CMCP Ambassadors Council proudly presents the first event in its new Fireside Chat with a GC series. Please join the Council for a conversation with Chad Ho, Hulu’s General Counsel, at Hulu’s campus in Santa Monica. Mr. Ho has served as Hulu’s GC for more than 10 years and has had a ringside seat to the rise of the streaming industry. This event will provide a rare opportunity to hear about Mr. Ho’s career and the challenges facing new media GCs in a conversational setting. The discussion will be followed by a reception in the Hulu “Well”. Space is limited.
