Position Summary

Our Toxic Tort group is seeking an associate attorney (2-5 years of relevant experience in toxic tort and/or product liability experience) who is licensed and resides in California. Salaries for this position range from $130,000 to $183,000 range, depending upon experience level and agreed-upon minimum hours, with significant bonus opportunities. Compensation and classification are based on the extent of directly relevant legal experience. While candidates with over five years of practice may apply, those without substantial relevant experience in the listed practice areas may be classified at a lower attorney level, with compensation commensurate to that level. Conversely, candidates with exceptional relevant experience may be considered for a higher classification within our attorney structure.

Duties and Responsibilities

Must be admitted to the State Bar of California and reside in California

Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school

2+ years of legal experience, ideally, you have experience handling written discovery, motion work, depositions and court hearings in asbestos, toxic tort and/or product liability matters

Ideal candidates will have experience in managing cases, conducting discovery, preparing and arguing motions, but we are willing to train the right candidates

Ability to make in-person appearances on cases when needed
