Position Summary
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented candidate to fill our Associate Attorney Investigator position. Our attorney investigators work independently on high-profile matters involving public and private sector employers in various sectors and locations and campuses throughout the state. The ideal candidate will possess three to five years of experience practicing law in California with a background in employment and/or Title IX compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and conduct all aspects of workplace and Title IX investigations in a thorough and timely manner.
• Assess allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, abusive conduct and bullying, and financial improprieties in a fair, neutral, and impartial manner.
• Prepare for and conduct investigatory interviews.
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports that are clear and logical, and effectively convey information to all levels of employees and management
• Communicate with clients and outside counsel to verify investigation scope, request documents, and coordinate investigation logistics.
• Communicate with witnesses to schedule interviews and request documents.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate documents and physical evidence for use in investigation reports.

• Strong interpersonal skills; with ability to listen well, demonstrate sensitivity to all parties, and facilitate resolutions.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with other team members.
• Strong listening and communication skills.

Qualifications and Prior Experience
Three to five years of experience practicing law in California.
At least one year of experience in investigating or advising on employment-related or Title IX matters is mandatory.
Prior experience with neutral investigations is preferred.
