January 29, 2026, San Francisco, CA – CMCP (California Minority Counsel Program) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Andrade, Managing Partner of Andrade Gonzalez LLP, as Co-Chair of the CMCP Executive Committee, joining Kerry McLean, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Intuit, who has been serving in the role.
McLean and Andrade will lead CMCP’s efforts to strengthen the legal profession by expanding access, opportunity, and collaboration among law firms and in-house counsel across California.
“Kerry and Sean exemplify the partnership between law firms and corporate legal departments that drives CMCP’s mission,” said Tracey Brodhead, Executive Director. “Their leadership will help strengthen access, visibility, and meaningful opportunity for legal talent.”

Kerry McLean, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Kerry leads Intuit’s legal, global corporate affairs, privacy and compliance teams as they work to support Intuit’s mission of powering prosperity around the world.
Kerry joined Intuit in 2006, most recently serving as Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining Intuit, Ms. McLean spent over six years at Wind River Systems, Inc., most recently as the Director of Legal. She also worked as an associate at Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin PC (now Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP). Ms. McLean serves on the board of the California Minority Counsel Program supporting its mission to promote diversity in the legal profession, the Board of the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley working to advance the rights of under-represented individuals through legal services and outreach, and on the executive council of TechNet, a national bipartisan network of technology CEOs and senior executives promoting growth of the innovation economy.

Sean is a highly skilled and creative attorney who is known for tenaciously fighting for his clients with a strong focus on obtaining insurance coverage. He is the “Go-To” insurance coverage counsel for the nation’s second largest school district, Los Angeles Unified School District and fast becoming “Go-To” coverage counsel for the County of Orange.
Having handled all types of insurance coverage cases for more than 16 years, Sean has developed expertise in successfully handling liability claims issues and mass torts, intellectual property matters, the sale of copyrighted patterns in the fashion industry, employment and environmental matters, officers and directors coverage, and failed solar arrays on satellites in space. Aside from many wins on summary judgment, in 2017, Mr. Andrade obtained a full defense verdict in a four-week jury trial involving sexual abuse claims by five plaintiffs seeking $24.5 million in damages. The Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal recognized this result as a “Top Defense Verdict.”
