Position Summary
Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, P.C., a leading national healthcare law firm, is looking for a regulatory associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, or Washington, D.C. office. This is a unique opportunity to work at a specialized firm in consistently evolving and interesting areas of the law, handling a wide variety of regulatory matters in support of vital health care providers. The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $275,000 annually. Actual salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, P.C. offers a comprehensive benefits package as well as discretionary bonuses. The firm offers flexibility regarding remote work arrangements.

Duties and Responsibilities
The position will primarily focus on provider reimbursement issues, Medicare and Medicaid appeals, and audits and internal investigations and will generally support the firm’s robust and sophisticated regulatory and reimbursement practices.

Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials, strong writing and oral skills, excellent organizational skills, and strong interest in health law and policy. Candidates with judicial clerkship experience or other relevant government service are particularly solicited.
