Allen Matkins is seeking a real estate associate with 2+ years of experience and an emphasis in real estate development. Prior experience with transactional real estate, real estate finance and/or public/private partnerships or exposure to construction litigation or construction financing is helpful. Environmental experience is a plus. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with a commitment to excellence and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position can be located in our Century City or Orange County offices. Excellent academic credentials, the ability to work independently and in collaboration, strong research, writing, and analytical skills, intense attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are required. Admission to the State Bar of California is required. Our Real Estate Development practice serves clients developing projects with budgets ranging from hundreds of thousands to over a billion dollars. The Development Practice Team drafts and negotiates agreements for design and construction of private development projects, public works projects, and publicly financed projects.
