The Principal Campus Counsel will advise on legal issues affecting UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine primarily in the Labor and Employment practices area. The position advises a diverse client base for the school’s 11,500 person workforce, including faculty, community physicians and staff as well as 2600 interns, residents and medical students. The Principal Campus Counsel will draft, review and revise a variety of instruments involving the School/University’s interest, such as policies and contracts; acts as a liaison with outside counsel; and may represent the University in administrative litigation.
