What started as a Southern California labor and employment boutique law firm in 1992 has grown into a regional law firm that offers a wide range of services. The firm opened its San Francisco office to serve clients in Northern California in 2006. Payne & Fears LLP has developed a reputation that is consistent with its founding principles of delivering outstanding legal services in a cost-efficient, flexible and client-friendly manner. Whether advising our clients how to avoid legal problems or representing them in litigation with millions of dollars at stake, our clients know that Payne & Fears consistently delivers the results they want.
P&F has built a practice that draws strength from the diversity of its members and provides an opportunity to individuals of all backgrounds. The firm understands the value of different experiences, perspectives, and cultures, and believes that a well-managed, diverse workforce expands the firm’s base of knowledge, skills and cross-cultural understanding, which in turn enables us to understand, relate and respond to our diverse and changing client base.
Payne & Fears, LLP, a regional California law firm with seven offices, is seeking an experienced attorney to help lead our growing San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have an established book of business with a desire to grow or expand in the Employment Litigation or Business Litigation practice areas. P&F is a different kind of law firm in that we allow our attorneys to blaze their own trails in a way that’s authentic to each person and we have tremendous respect for difference in practice styles. We are entrepreneurs who work independently, while also rolling up our sleeves to collaborate across offices to best serve our clients.
We allow our attorneys a great deal of autonomy to build their own practice with the backing of a brand-name firm without big-firm bureaucracy. We are here to build a legacy, promote the next generation of leaders and mentor and support junior attorneys. We are looking for an enthusiastic risk-taker who wants to make P&F a long-term home. The person would work hand in hand with our San Francisco office Managing Partner to develop and execute on a strategic plan to grow our client portfolio in the Bay Area.
