In addition to real estate transactional expertise (purchase and sale, DDAs and Development Agreements), experience in land use, CEQA, and NEPA is required. The successful candidate will analyze and comment on administrative draft CEQA and NEPA documents for legal sufficiency; analyze General Plans, zoning ordinances and plot entitlement strategies; help prepare project application documents for private clients; perform legal research concerning land use, CEQA and NEPA topics; draft certain CEQA and NEPA documents; draft General Plan consistency, CEQA and other approval findings; and handle all aspects of land use/CEQA litigation, including administrative record preparation, procedural steps, briefing, and argument. Must have stellar writing skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and motivation to serve clients at the highest level.
