Position Summary
We have an immediate opening in our Oakland office for a Corporate Associate with three to six years of experience preferred. The candidate will have a general corporate background, with significant experience in commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation, corporate governance, and public finance. Some experience with the non-profit sector is ideal but not required. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education strategic business unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active California bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
