Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified mid-level to senior M&A associate with law firm experience and interest in working on complex private equity and international M&A transactions to join our corporate and business transactions practice in the Orange County office.

Practice Description:

The Morgan Lewis corporate and business transactions practice is composed of more than 350 lawyers who focus on transactional and corporate counseling matters, concerning mergers and acquisitions-including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances-private equity, private investment funds, finance, restructuring, securities and capital markets, governance, emerging businesses, employee stock ownership plans, and outsourcing. We provide counsel to clients across a diverse range of industry sectors.

Position Summary :

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of corporate transactional experience in mergers and acquisitions. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, research, writing, and analytical skills. Interest in working with healthcare, technology, industrial and financial services companies, and private equity and venture firms that invest in them is preferred. In addition to transactional work, the ideal candidate will be able to be, or grow to be, a portal lawyer for legal needs of sophisticated companies. We value collegiality and diversity among our lawyers and seek to make the practice both professionally and personally rewarding. California bar membership is preferred.
