Position Summary
Our Chambers USA Band 1 ranked construction team has an opening for a construction associate to support both our transactional and litigation practices. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, preferably working on litigation or transactional matters in construction. However, candidates with a general business or real estate background will be considered if they demonstrate a strong desire to work in the construction industry and learn how to draft and negotiate complex construction transactions. We represent owners, designers, contractors, and project teams on both public and private work utilizing collaborative delivery methods. Our practice is supported by land-use, environmental, real estate, and public agency attorneys. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated and growing construction practice. This is a hybrid position based out of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Rafael or Walnut Creek. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $180,000 and $210,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including but not limited to years of experience and professional skills required for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ideal candidates will have a distinguished academic background and impeccable references. CA Bar required. Strong research, writing and communication skills, high level of analytical skills as well as excellent and highly adaptable communication skills are required.
