Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated associate for our Orange County, Los Angeles, or San Francisco office with 4 or more years of post-Bar civil litigation experience working on the defense of insurance bad faith claims. We offer fully remote or hybrid work options. However, applicants must reside in California and be available to make in-person appearances as needed.

Walsworth offers competitive compensation, health insurance options, and voluntary 401(k) plan. The annual base salary range for this California-based position is $130,000 to $165,000, along with the opportunity for monthly and year-end bonuses. This represents Walsworth’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ideal candidates will work effectively both individually and collaboratively as the role will require candidates to handle cases with limited day-to-day supervision while also collaborating with other team members for development of overall strategy to meet case goals. Ideal candidates will also have experience conducting discovery, taking depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and assisting with trial preparation. Experience attending mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials is a plus. Must be admitted to the State Bar of California.
