Position Summary
LTL Attorneys is seeking a highly motivated and experienced mid-level attorney to join the Employment & Business Litigation practice for our Los Angeles office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Handling employment and commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
Taking and defending depositions
Drafting and responding to written discovery
Brief preparation
Oral argument
Case management and client communication
Skills and Competencies
Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategies; drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs; representing clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations; and collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on case preparation and strategy.
Qualifications and Prior Experience
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
California Bar admission
Three to eight years experience handling employment or commercial litigation matters, including taking and defending depositions
