The Joseph Saveri Law Firm, Inc. opened for business in May 2012. Duties and Responsibilities
Perform high quality legal work without constant supervision. Take and defend key depositions. Law and motion practice, including hearings. Case management, including hearings. Consult with Partners to set case strategy and goals. Implement and execute on plan. Business Development: outreach to potential referring counsel, potential clients. Generation of firm marketing and advertising materials. Direct and handle press inquiries as appropriate. Supervise more junior attorneys and support staff.
Qualifications and Prior Experience
We are looking for litigators with at least 2-5 years’ experience of complex litigation experience and the drive to run their own docket of cases. You will draft complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery. You will take and defend depositions, argue motions in court, handle mediation, examine witnesses at trial and supervise more junior attorneys and support staff. You must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. Antitrust, class action or complex litigation experience preferred. Candidates with clerkship experience are encouraged to apply.
