Ravi Mohan is a technology attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property group. For his clients, he manages patent strategy, portfolio development, patent prosecution and provides patent pre-litigation counseling. Ravi’s areas of expertise include clean technology, electronics, computer hardware, internet, security, semiconductors and life sciences. He also has experience with medical devices, power engineering, consumer electronics, business methods, internet infrastructure and transactions, biometrics, and mechanical devices.

Along with district court practice, he has practiced patent litigation in Tokyo, Japan; drafted responses for post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board; and litigated cases before the ITC. Hailing from the Silicon Valley, Ravi has a dedicated passion for working with emerging companies. Consequently, he is a frequent speaker and participant at various accelerators, incubators, and tech-focused meetup.com events.

Mr. Mohan has been awarded numerous academic prizes, including being named a Stanford Law School Patent Remedy Prize Winner. He is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Gujarati.
