Monica Dean is an associate in the Labor and Employment practice in Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.’s Los Angeles office. Monica has litigation experience in federal and state courts in California and Nevada. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis in 2003. She went on to receive her J.D. from Arizona State Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2006.

Monica has defended clients against alleged violations of wage and hour laws including misclassification and meal and rest period issues. She has also represented clients against allegations of retaliation, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, failure to accommodate, breach of contract and other violations of state and federal law. In addition to CMCP, Monica is also an active participant in the Labor and Employment Section of the National Bar Association.
