Marcus Barber is a senior associate at Kasowitz Benson & Torres LLP, in Silicon Valley, where he focuses on intellectual property and technology related litigation. He has substantial trial experience and has litigated numerous cases in both state and federal court. Marcus focuses his practice on technology litigation (and related licensing) and has particular experience litigating cases involving software, medical devices, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical patents.

Prior to joining Kasowitz Benson & Torres LLP, Marcus worked as research and development chemist, served as a law clerk in United States District Court, and practiced complex commercial litigation. Marcus received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina where he majored in Chemistry.
