CMCP Honored with the Inclusive Excellence Award from Arab American Lawyers Association of Southern California

Last week Executive Director Robert White was honored to accept the Inclusive Excellence Award on behalf of CMCP. AALASC recognized CMCP “for its commitment and contributions to diversifying the legal profession and leadership in recognizing, including, and advancing Arab Americans within the legal profession.”

### The California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) is a California 501(c)(6) non-profit mutual benefit corporation dedicated to promoting diversity in the legal profession by providing attorneys of color with access and opportunity for business and professional development.

CMCP is the only statewide organization that brings business lawyers of all races together as members and colleagues, regardless of the type of organization in which they practice, to achieve diversity and  inclusion within law firms and in-house law departments, and in the outside counsel spend of corporations and government agencies.

CALIFORNIA MINORITY COUNSEL PROGRAM | CMCP Announces New Board of Directors Members 

February 10, 2021, Oakland, CA – The California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) is proud to announce the election of seven new members to serve on its board of directors. 

“Our new members are highly-accomplished attorneys from law firms and corporate legal departments who have demonstrated a career-spanning commitment to advancing racial diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession,” said Robert White, Executive Director of CMCP. “Their leadership will reinvigorate our mandate to offer the legal sector a blueprint for recruiting and retaining talent that reflects the diversity of our state by fostering education, providing resources, and creating a community for attorneys of color across California.” 

New members elected to serve a two-year term (2021-2023):
