SAN FRANCISCO
Thursday, March 29, 2007

Over 100 Chief Legal Officers in a variety of industries have signed the “Call to Action”. The “Call to Action” reflects their comitment to diversity and the signatory CLOs pledge to make outside counsel decisions based, in part, on the firms’ diversity performance. The CLOs further pledge to limit or eliminate law firms that demonstrate no meaningful commitment to diversity.

This event provides a forum for CLOs to explan candidly how a firm’s commitment to diversity impacts the selection and retention process. Law firms of various sizes will also participate and discuss what they are doing in response to their clients’ call to diversity and their own internal efforts to become more inclusive.
